2015 Neighborhood Equitable Economic Development Indicators

This is a sample of indicators of economic development in New York City neighborhoods. This tool is meant to give a comprehensive but broad measure of New York’s economic development opportunities at both the citywide and neighborhood level.

The total risk layer displays risk to economic opportunity by neighborhood. Toggle between layers on the top right to choose a specific indicator category. Click on your community district to see economic indicators. Indicators are used as a gauge for community vitality in four categories:

- Community and Infrastructure
- Banking and Access
- Education and Employment
- Income and Benefits
